Caddy

The weather was perfect the other day, yes we do have nice days in March in Denver.
So we decided to pack up the little guy and head to the driving range to try out Scott's new golf clubs.

Look who is riding in his big boy car seat.

Scott loves his new clubs. They were supposed to be for his upcoming 30th birthday, but you know how we roll, we always give our presents early in this family.

Alec just chilled in his bouncer while we hit balls. (I know I am bare foot, gross, but I forgot my golf shoes)

He is the cutest little caddy.

It was so fun to get out and enjoy the nice weather. We cannot wait for the summer!

Grub Tub

Yes, what you are looking at is a creation of our Elder's Quorum, called the Grub Tub.

Each week a member of the quorum takes the Grub Tub home and brings cookies, brownies, etc. to share during the third hour.
I told Scott that if he ever brought the Grub Tub home, the cookies would most likely be sabotaged with a few extra helpings of baking soda...I think my bark may be worse than my bite.

Though the rules specifically say that the wives are not supposed to make the goodies, I wonder if I am the only one who had a husband in a panic the morning of, and decided to help bail him out.

How could I say no to this face? He pulled out all the stops on this one, even tilting his head.

All kidding aside, I cannot tell you how many times Scott has come to my rescue amidst a hosting meltdown right before the arrival of company and saved the day. I guess it was due time that I came to his aid. So even though this post may be a back-handed compliment, thank you Scott for always coming to my rescue!
