All In a Day's Work

Literally.

I love you Princess Girl, but when is the spitting up going to end? 

I think the record is now 15 bibs in one day.

Hookie at the Ridge

Late last night, while in the midst of his Sunday night depression, Scott had the brilliant idea of wanting to golf in the morning.  And not just at any course, at the course we have been meaning to play at for 5 years now.  

Twelve hours later it was Monday morning at 6 am and we were playing hookie from life and playing golf at the Ridge.

The course had breathtaking views. 

Where there weren't amazing views of the mountains, there were castles such as this to be admired.

Scott almost got a hole in one on this shot.  And its no wonder, look closely at his mouth, what dedication!

Where's the ball?  Try the cup.  

 

 While Scott was busy parring this hole...I was found to be digging myself in one...literally!

Adore this guy and love all that we have in common!

Look Alike?

Lately it seems as if everyone is noticing that Ava looks just like Alec.

Here they both are at 7 months.

Nephi!

GG and Alec reading bedtime scriptures out of 1 Nephi.  

Alec found it to be hilarious every time that my mom would say Nephi. 

While my mom was in town we were able to attend an endowment session in the Denver Temple.

Ava 7 Months

Look who is sitting up!

Just when I think she can't get any cuter...

Ava is loving this whole sitting up business.  I can tell that she is trying to be big like her big brother.

Other than spending her time being so darn cute, at 7 months Ava loves to watch her brother play hoops.

Smiles at us every time that we look at her.

Rides in the stroller like a big girl.

Finally is sleeping and napping in her crib.  She has naturally slid into a routine of napping 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon.  Which means that for one hour during the day her and Alec are napping together, which gives me free time to blog about them!

Every month that goes by she is becoming more of a momma's girl and I am loving every second of it!

Happy Father's Day

To the best father in MY whole wide world.  

 We have made it a tradition to get Scott a tie every year, totally original, I know.  

Alec & Ava helped me pick out this orange one.

Scott was the lucky connoisseur of a delicious salmon dinner prepared by Alec & Co.

 I am so proud and grateful for the Man, Father, Husband and Patriarch of our family!

Miller Girls Trip

Last weekend I was able to get away for a quick last minute girls trip with my mom and sisters.

We stayed at a hotel in downtown Salt Lake directly across the street from the temple.

We layed out by the pool.

Ate Thai food then went to the movie Snow White.

Got ready for a wedding. If that didn't bring up my childhood, all of us fighting for bathroom time!

Shopped 'till we dropped.

Ate fries for lunch.

Went to the Spoken Word at the Conference Center.

One of my favorite parts of the trip was the morning run up City Creek Canyon.

My sweet friend Chelsey is having her first baby girl.  We threw her a book themed shower to celebrate her upcoming arrival.
