Soccer Mom

It's official.  I'm a soccer mom.

Alec had his first soccer game last week.

We thought we had died and gone to heaven watching him laugh and smile the entire time, and apparently, so had he!

I feel so lucky to be married to Scott, who understands this concept as well as any one that I know.
No wonder my parents are obsessed with him!

One of life's great joys is a good laugh with friends.

Ava woke up like this.  

In the morning AND from her afternoon nap.

Wish I knew what was going on in that head.  

She stayed perfectly still and somber both times as I rushed downstairs to get my camera.
