This past week, the woman to child ratio was in Alec's favor. My mom and sister Amy flew out for a visit. My little mister was in seventh heaven. To say that Alec was smitten with Auntie Amy is quite the understatement.

What did we do?

A little bit of this.

A little bit of that.

A little bit of Splish.

A little bit of Splash.

I let my WT child crawl around the deck in just his diaper.

"Hey Alec! You have some puffs creeping out of your diaper!"

"Oh, and your butt cheek is hanging out as well!"

'Twas a common theme throughout the trip.

Alec turned into quite the showman once company arrived on the scene.

We ended the evenings with strolls around the neighborhood.

Being that we just moved the week prior, this was not the most glamorous of girls trip. All the same, I still love spending time with the lovely ladies in the family. We missed you Kim!

A true Father's Day Feast!

Baby Girl!

We are having a baby GIRL! I thought that I was indifferent to the sex of the baby, however, I am unbelievably thrilled at the news! I can't believe that I will get my very own little girl!

On Friday Scott, Alec and I went to First View Ultrasound where we were able to learn the sex of the baby as well as view 3D/4D images. I have been so wrapped up with the details of the move, so it was special to take a moment to have some bonding time and to enjoy our little princess.

Alec was obsessed with her pink balloon.

We decided to send the balloon up to her as a present.

We can't wait to meet you Baby Girl!

Moving Day

Tomorrow is moving day! I am so excited, but also a little sad to leave our first home. Hopefully we have chosen renters that will take good care of it. It will help that we aren't moving far so that we will be able to check on it often.

This has been a home filled with wonderful memories of us starting as a new couple, fresh in our careers, to new parents and to parents again. We've been blessed to be able to enjoy this home from June 2008-June 2011.

And now to many more years filled with many more little baby Smiths in our new home!
I am thrilled with this new stage of life that we are entering into.

Grandma Smith

A few weeks ago Scott's beloved Grandma, Darla Smith, passed away.


We went to Rupert, Idaho for the funeral. We were able to spend time with the Smith family legacy that Grandma Darla left behind.

The Faces of my Fifteen Month Old

Funny.

He cracks himself up all day long. It is very contagious.

Chill.

Curious.

He is always on the lookout for a ball, and always lets me know when he spots one.

Serious.

Sometimes he will furrow his brows for what seems like hours at a time.

And this is the, I Don't Want To Go To Church Face.

There's not anything that a litte TLC from Daddy won't fix.

I know I always say this, but the more time that goes by, the more I seem to enjoy my little guy. Especially now that I know that it will only be just the two of us for only 5 more months. I seem to savor every moment with just US.

His 15 month stats are: weight 21 lbs 8%, height 30 3/4 48%, head 19 90%.

His latest trick is that he can walk and push his wagon on his very own. Such a Stud!
The first time that he did it was just about the cutest thing I have ever seen!

It's True.

We are moving! Thankfully we aren't going far, just a few blocks away. With our growing family we thought that it was time to buy a bigger home. It was a difficult decision, but we have decided to keep our current home and rent it out. However, we have decided to sell a few "treasures".

Item #1 is this beauty. Honestly this was just an impulsive buy to fill up a room that we never use. I bought the couch brand new from RC Willey about 1 1/2 years ago for $600. I am thinking of selling it for $250. Any takers?

Item #2 is Scott's pride and joy. His 63 inch high def big screen tv, with the tv stand. $400.

The tv is in great condition, we are just looking to upgrade to one that we can hang on the wall.

Easter

Easter was pretty low key being that we just got home from our trip the night before. Alec LOVED what the Easter Bunny brought him. A football basket, and the ultimate bouncy ball.

This little guy loves balls! He has been chasing this thing around the house ALL day every day for the past week.
He says BALL at least one hundred times a day.

Aren't little crawling bums just the cutest?

His hair is having a bit of an identity crisis. Some days it flips and curls in the back, other days, well it just looks neglected and matted.

Besides chasing around his bouncy balls, he has taken it upon himself to "help" mommy by ripping down the towels whenever they are "out of place", hanging neatly on the oven.

Anytime time he does anything, he always looks to me for affirmation. Melts my heart!
I'll take that sweet help anytime!
