Tourists- Devil's Head

Over Labor Day we visited Pike National Forest where we hiked up to Devil's Head with some friends.

We were a little nervous about how Alec would handle riding in a back pack for the first time.
Poor guy, the first few minutes he had sunscreen in his eye.

But once he flushed it out, all three of us really enjoyed ourselves. The scenery was breathtaking, the weather was perfect, the air was refreshing, and it helped to have good company to distract my lazy pregnant self from the fatigue from hiking in such high altitude.

I happen to think that Scott looks so cute in his hiking gear.

Once we reached the top, we were able to enjoy these amazing views.

Alec had a blast getting filthy, pointing to the animals, and using his pointer for other things...

I don't know why, but Scott and I laughed our heads off when buying this hat for Alec.
Maybe it had to do with the fact that it was for 4-7 year olds, and still fit him.
